how much do you charge?

I thought I'd start with the bit most people want to know... Every event is different, and you'll more than likely want to negotiate the best fee by working out the most appropriate timings to suit your guests and your day. Hopefully the fees below are fairly standard and give you an idea of what you'll be likely to pay. 

Ceremony only: £160

Drinks Reception and/or Meal Accompaniment: £160 for the first hour and £90 for each additional hour

Full Wedding Package - discounted (ceremony, 1 hour accompaniment to drinks and 2 hours accompaniment to the meal): £399

White Baby Grand Piano Hire: £80

Travel: 55p per mile from CV37

my venue doesn’t have a piano?

No problem whatsoever.

As well as one of the best stage pianos around, I bring a gorgeous white mini-baby-grand piano to the venue. It looks fabulous and will make sure your event looks just as good as it sounds. With a mighty power pack I can also play almost anywhere, even without mains power. 

how much space does a pianist need?

Not much... to be honest.

If there's a piano at your venue then the only space I'll need is enough to sit on the stool. For the baby grand piano that's slightly more at about 8 feet x 5 feet. Often people think there needs to be loads of room but that's often simply in the mind! 

do i need to provide food?

People have always been extremely generous with making sure I am well fed at their events but this is absolutely not necessary. I will always bring my own food and drink.

can you play outdoors?

I have a battery pack that allows me to bring the digital baby grand right out into the heart of the forest, or into the summer gardens of beautiful wedding venues.  As long as there is some shelter provided to protect the electrics (and me!) I can bring the piano pretty much anywhere. 

what do you wear?

By default, it'll be something between formal and smart casual with a waistcoat and white open-collar shirt. This fits almost every event quite nicely, but do let me know if you are planning any other dress code and I'll make sure I don't stand out. The photo on the home page is pretty much exactly as I'll be when I arrive!
